It’s August and time to head for Seattle. This trip is to visit family and friends along the way and share the experience with you.
Visiting family in Ludington Michigan, spending a few days in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, visiting a friend who teaches at the seminary in Milwaukee, a week on forty acres at the end of a dead-end road for a time of solitude and prayer. Then it will be time to head to Seattle. Stopping in Missoula and Polson Montana to visit with friends who lived in Granite Falls Washington when we lived there, then going on to Tri-Cities in Washington to visit with friends from Puget Sound area. From there into Seattle for about two months before heading back home. It’s an exciting time and I am looking forward to it.
The trip from home to Ludington is a 12-hour drive. Stopping in Cleveland for the first night on the way to Ludington breaks the trip into a manageable level. It also provides an opportunity to have dinner with Andrew and Melody, my nephew and niece, who live in the area. The next morning is time to drive to Ludington.
